Quest 050

[Attempted Private//Somewhat Hackable]

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised anymore, how cruel this City can be. Taking someone away just days before his birthday, taking another not once but twice, and both times after he'd married his true love...and now...

It's hard to let go, isn't it? Even knowing that he's likely better off where he is. I always wondered if he was really as happy here as he pretended to be. It seems like that was all he ever concerned himself with, really...making others happy. And he did, he really did, even though he had his...questionable moments.

I'll never forget--it's almost silly, isn't it, that something as small as a piece of candy could move someone so? I don't know how you might've fared against a dragon, or a witch, or even something as silly as a sickness, but I don't doubt for a second that you would've tried. You always wanted to be everyone's prince, Tamaki...and I suppose, in a way, you were mine.

A brightly burning candle, suddenly snuffed out. But you wouldn't have wanted me to be sad over you, would you? You'd have gotten that look on your face and said something cheerful and hopeful and sweet until I started smiling again. Or you would've decided it was--some kind of curse or evil spirit plaguing me, and gone off to fight it with that silly--pink--

...I'm going to miss you terribly, Tamaki. I hope you're smiling right now, wherever you are.

[Private to Sam]

This is going to sound very silly, but...

...If, somehow, you ever should learn, or know, or realize that you're about to leave the City please don't leave, promise me you'll say goodbye first?

[/Private]

Goodness, today must be a curse day--or else everyone has suddenly decided to begin spring cleaning a few months early. Some of the things people are trying to get rid of seem rather valuable and sentimental and I'm not going to begin to address this trend of offering up people, though, so I suppose it is a curse. And a silly one, at that.

Would anyone...er, like to go somewhere this evening? Just for something to do, and to get out of the house.

[OOC: Someone heard the news and checked the hall herself. Sad princess is sad now.]
