Mm...I suppose it's just the time of the year when people start getting sick, isn't it...? Daddy always said that chicken soup was the best thing for it. Chicken soup and lots of rest. And a cool cloth for the fever, and candy for a sore throat, and a story to help me sleep...

I'm sorry I didn't come in to the library today. I must've overslept, I think, I woke up halfway through the day and just...couldn't bring myself to get out of bed. My head hurts every time I sit up and I haven't felt this tired in...ugh.

I don't think there's ever a time when a person longs for their parents more than when they're not feeling well...
