( Attempted Private//Somewhat Hackable )
1. I resolve to find something to smile about every day.
2. I resolve to make friends with someone new this year!
3. I resolve to try all sorts of new things that I can't do back home.
4. I resolve to beat Sam at the Mario Kart game again.
5. I resolve to enjoy and make the most of my adventure here in the City, no matter how hard things get at times.
I can hardly believe it's the end of the year already! I suppose I ought to resolve to clean my room more often, but I know that's a resolution that I won't be able to keep, so there isn't much point, really, is there? Though I'll at least have to do it tomorrow, anyway, to get rid of the dust of the old year so the new can start fresh.
Where I'm from, the eve of the new year means two days of feasts and dancing, with lots of noise and music and laughter. And of course Dagonet always drinks too much and Gerwain runs about looking exasperated and Ifnkovhgroghprm comes to visit and tells stories to anyone who will listen...but, of course, it's not anywhere near the new year back home in Daventry, so they won't be celebrating tonight. I'd like to, though! I think it's important to be among friends at the coming of the new year.
How do people in other worlds celebrate the eve of the new year, I wonder?
[OOC: Yup, she has a public list and a private list of resolutions. And this basket will have been delivered to her Secret Santa recipient at some point today; please ignore the mun's failure and assume she tracked him down somehow.]
