Well, that was quite an affair this weekend, wasn't it? I wouldn't say it was bad, exactly, just...different. I'm afraid I didn't much like seeing all the attractions behind bars and in chains, though. There's something unsettling about walking free past rows and rows of cages--I found it uncomfortable, to say the least. We never had anything quite like that back home, though we did see a caravan of gypsies every once in a while, on rare occasions. Of course, ours were real people, not machines, and they told fortunes with crystal balls, not with cards. But all the same, I'm glad it's over now. I think I prefer the City the way it is now, strange and modern though it may be.
Now, let's see. First things first--we're still looking for a few people to fill roles in our production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, so if you think you'd like to try a part, please do talk to Neil about it? Or ask me and I can ask him for you, I suppose. We're having a lot of fun with it, and it's Shakespeare, and it's really all right if you've never acted before
Secondly, Blue's swing dancing competition...which reminds me, Blue, I need to introduce you to my friend Rue; she's a wonderful dancer and I think she'd like to speak with you about giving the competition a try herself. And then, of course, Neil and I will have to get some practicing in ourselves, if we're going to do well enough to win! So that'll be lovely, I think.
Thirdly, Blair, I haven't forgotten that we still need to go shopping before your party. Would you be free to go on Friday, perhaps in the evening?
Fourthly, I think I need to start Rollerblading again. I went most the whole winter without practicing on them, and I'm not as fast anymore as I used to be. They're really quite convenient, though, when you need to get somewhere in a hurry! Much faster than just walking, or even running, since you don't tire out as fast. So that's something to work on.
My! That's quite a lot of things, isn't it? I'll have to start making lists for myself again, so I can keep it all straight and be sure not to leave anything out.
For now, though...mm, I think I'm going to go climb a tree and sit and think and enjoy the nice weather we're having. I haven't done that in a long time.
[OOC: If you want to randomly encounter her sitting in a tree (and probably playing the piccolo, while she's at it) near the Warehouse, feel free to action her up~]
