I'll have been here a year, this Sunday. It's funny, it really doesn't seem like it's been that long at all.

Time seems to go a little faster, doesn't it?

As they say, time flies when you're having fun. And I have--I am. I've had so much fun.

[She tips her head back a bit, to look up at the sky]

I think that's why I'm going to the fountain at all.

Is there something you need to see?

I don't think I've ever really looked at it at night. That's where I ended up when I first arrived, you know. In the fountain? Most people come through that way, it seems.

I just arrived in the square.

I almost want to jump in again on Sunday, just for the sake of nostalgia. Put on my good dress and shoes and come out here and ruin them all over again. Isn't that ridiculous?

At least it's summer, right?

Mmhmm, I was lucky for that. A good soaking won't hurt me any, though I likely couldn't say the same for the dress.

[A brief pause]

Cain's arranging a party that day, too. So perhaps getting soaked isn't the best idea, after all.

Is the party for you?

Mmhmm. It's afternoon tea, I think. You'll come, won't you? ...If you're free, of course?

Even if I wasn't, I will for you.

You really are going to spoil me rotten, you know, talking that way.

I think it'll be fun, too. It'd be terribly rude of me to have a whole party waiting for me and not be able to attend it, wouldn't it?
