...Goodness, when I was baking for the party tonight, I wasn't expecting this many visitors. But it seems you're all here again, are you? It's not quite so nice as being able to visit home, of course, but it's always lovely to have visitors. And especially for the holidays!

That's true, it really does matter how one looks at things. It's all a matter of looking on the bright side of things, really, and that's not always very easy to do...but it's always better if you do.

Well, someone has to be, really! So I suppose it might as well be me, since I have a great deal of practice at it, too.

Oh, yes, of course. It's called The City, and it's rather like...well, it's a world that's sort of outside of all the other ones, where people from all over can be brought.

Heh-heh-heh. Strange this place is, but unique it is. Much can be learned.

There can! I've met so many lovely people since coming here. It's wonderful, really--people that have saved the world, people that write poems and act in plays and fly through space, and everything in between.

Well, a very long time ago I had a friend that flew through space. His name was Luke, and he was very kind to me--he helped me get my job here, actually, and I've had it ever since. But I'm afraid he's gone now, and has been for a while.
