Quest 018

[Attempted Private//Woefully Hackable]

It wasn't my fault. She was a monster. I didn't know it would kill her! Everyone's better off now that she's gone, anyway. It's not like I meant to do it.

But I guess...this curse doesn't care about that. Well, fine. I won't--I won't let it bother me. She was an evil old hag and she had it coming. That's right. And if that means a little blood on my hands until midnight, then...then...no, no, I'm not letting it bother me. I'm not. That's final. It's over and done with and I'd do it again if I had to.

...And I never meant for it to kill her, either, so there.

Oh, I hope she never shows up here...

Funny, this is one of the few soliloquies I don't know by heart. Then again, I never did like Lady Macbeth very much.

Well, this makes things...inconvenient. The bandages keep soaking through. They ought to hold out until midnight, but just the same...hm. I'm afraid I'd better not go to the Library today--I wouldn't want to accidentally ruin any of the books. And I hear it's quite a mess out there, anyway. Yes, I think it's for the best that I just stay in...

The trick, though, will be finding some activity to keep me occupied today that doesn't involve the use of one's hands. ...Or, at least, that doesn't use three fingers of one hand and the palm of the other.

[OOC: Feel free to notice the rather specific location of the blood on her hands; she was using a bow and arrow when she committed her one and only murder, so the bloodstains are reflecting that now.]

Her "Father's" blood

Your hands are stained too?

The Raven, right?

Parts of them are, yes. Specific parts.

Mine was an accident. I never meant for it to turn out the way it did. ...But I guess that makes no difference to the curse.

No. It wouldn't. Mine wasn't an accident.

Back home, killing a monster would make someone a hero, not a murderer.

Even monsters have family.

...Sometimes their family is happier to see them gone. Edgar...

It depends how deep the blood runs into, hm?

Or how wicked the monster, perhaps. He couldn't No one can choose or help who their parents are.
