[Voice Post]

[The audio comes on with a fumbled click, and a moment later a child's voice speaks, slightly muffled due to the fact that she's holding the microphone a little too close to her face. However, despite this faint distortion, her voice is clear and authoritative--or at least, it gives the impression that she's trying very hard to sound that way.]

'Scuse me. Um, I know there are lots of people in this magic box, and I think maybe my knight is in here too, so could somebody tell me where he is, please? I really need to find him 'cause I think he's supposed to be watching me, so if somebody could help me, please, you would have my eternal gra--graturtude.

[A brief pause.]

Or if you don't know where he is, could you tell me how to find the castle? That's where my daddy always goes when we visit here, 'cause he has to talk to the king about matters of state. But I don't ever get to go so I don't know where the castle is. I think it would have a moat because our castle does, too, and maybe alligators.

[And now there is a long pause, long enough that a listener might think that the speaker has forgotten to switch off her device, but it turns out that it is merely Rosella waiting to see if her magic box will answer her. When no reply immediately comes, she makes a faint whine of frustration, then quickly composes herself and resumes speaking.]

Well, I'm going to go look for the castle, so if you change your mind, can you please tell me? Please? I really need to find my mother and daddy.

[Another pause.]

It's really important.

[There are another few seconds of silence, and then a rustle of fingers and fabric near the microphone, and with a click, the recording shuts off.]

[OOC: Yup, Tiny!sella is back, back again. And she has some vague memories of the last few times she was turned into a child, so she's a little more confident about where she is (and a little less willing to admit that she's lost). She's setting out to explore the City and attempt to find the nonexistent castle, so all responses assumed voice, and feel free to action if you want it.]

Sounds like your mum and dad got a duff knight. You've probably managed to get a long way by now, any idea where you are?

I'm looking for the castle! But nobody's seen it. I think that's silly. Why would you build a castle where nobody could find it?

The palace? Everybody must not have been looking the right way.

[He's assuming most of this is a game from a little girl known for her imagination, but a lost little girl nontheless.]

Right now I need you to look around and tell me what you can see on all sides.

Ummmmm. [Wait for it wait for it wait for it...] I see a bunch of towers and no grass anywhere and a big building that looks like there was a fire, 'cause half of it's all burned down.

[keys jangle]

Right, and you're not planning on going near the big burnt building, are you? Because that's a dangerous place to play.

Uh-uh. You're not supposed to play by burned stuff 'cause it might fall down, or the dragon might come back. I just see it 'cause it's really tall.

[There's the softest of laughs over the line.]

You can't see any dragons, can you? Maybe I should bring my sword.

No...but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Sometimes dragons hide, like if they're guarding things. But they only guard stuff if it's really important, like magic treasure. Is that why the building burned down?

Could be. If there was a dragon there before, though, he was a great hider. Can they make themselves really small?

I don't know. But I don't think they can. They wouldn't be very scary if they were really small.

That's a good point. Okay then, can they.... turn themselves invisible?

Uh-uh! Only wizards can do that. Um, and sorcerors, too, I guess, and maybe witches. But not dragons.

Then I don't know where he's been hiding. They did have some big bookshelves.

What if he flew away? Dragons can do that. That's why they have such big wings.

He could, but he's not much of a guardian if he flies away every time somebody pays a visit, is he?

Well, maybe there's nothing to guard in there. I don't know what's in it 'cause I haven't gone and looked. Maybe the dragon just burned it down and flew away.

If there used to be big bookshelves in there, what does that tell you?

That it belonged to a wizard? 'Cause bookshelves mean books, and I don't think anybody could have that many books except a wizard.

It was a very generous wizard. He let everybody who wanted come in and read his books for free.

Wooooooooooow. I never heard of a wizard doing that before! Usually they just stay all by themselves and keep secrets and never let anybody see anything.

We have more caring, sharing wizards here. Or we had until the dragon burnt up all their books.

Mean old dragon. I hope somebody threw water on his snout for burning up the poor wizard's books.

He must have done something mean for the dragon to act like that, don't you think? Can you see the fountain behind you, Rosella?

Maybe. But there are such things as good wizards, sometimes, and there aren't such things as good dragons. Just bad ones.
