So much has changed in a year. Was it foolish, in light of everything else that's happened? What if he's next? What if-- No. No, I won't.

Snowdrop came out today. It wasn't long enough to say that she's gotten used to me now, I'm afraid, but she did let me pet her a little. Prince is getting along well, too, though I do have to admit that I wasn't particularly concerned for how well he'd be settling in, since he got to bring his whole bowl with him when we moved. Tomorrow we're taking Spartacus out to the barn to be near Valor and Penny's sheep, since I think he's getting rather tired of the Warehouse, and I imagine he'll be more comfortable around some friends of his own, er, breed. And Ellington even came up to wave a bit at me the other day, so it seems he's doing well.

I think...that I'm doing rather well, too.

Do New Year's resolutions still count, I wonder, if you happen to complete them eight months too late?
