Quest 236

I wasn't just dreaming all the commotion--it really is them. They're really here! Oh, I thought it would be the end of last month, but this...this is even better.

Oh, hello, everyone! It's just lovely to see you all again! I do hope you all managed to dress warmly before coming here, since it's the winter season now. Or, well--it is for us, anyway, since I know time does seem to move differently from one place to another. And it was summer the last time you stopped by, wasn't it? So it's been quite some time now, since we all saw you last.

But you're here now, and that's what's important. And if you have, er, found yourself in a bit of a predicament with proper clothing and whatnot, there's a Welcome Center in the Square that I'm sure can be of some help with that. And do say hello to Penny while you're there!

Does this have something to do with that train? All the things we saw out the windows, the people trying to get in--and now this?

Oh, it's a good thing I saved all those leftovers. If anyone would like some--we just had Thanksgiving a few days ago, you see--there's plenty of cold turkey and cranberry sauce and rolls and things to snack on while you're here!

Sam? ...Blue? If...are you by any chance out there somewhere, too?

[OOC: Canonically, she's from just after the end of Perils of Rosella, and with some very disjointed and vague knowledge of Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder. If something comes up that I don't want her to know, I'll just have her forget it, so have a party--anything goes! HIT HER WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT. Troll, threadjack, have a ball!

And of course, I am totally okay with backdating. ♥]

Well, I imagine it's hardly a secret that I'm a rather...well, odd princess. And especially so in a place like this, where everything is so modern and I'm rather old-fashioned. But a very dear friend of mine reminded me just a bit ago that learning about modern things doesn't mean shunning all the old-fashioned ones, either. It's about finding a balance, really. And in a place like the City, adapting to things is really quite a necessity.

Well spoken. I think that in this time you'll be developing useful leadership tactics.

Are there any specific traditions you feel that should be observed in the City from your homeland?

Do you? I'm so very glad to hear that, Anderson. I certainly think the people I've met here and the lessons I've learned have made me a better person, it's true.

But, er, let me think. It's...not a tradition, exactly, but I'd like it very much if more people tried to resolve their problems peacefully, or at least through cleverness, rather than resorting to swords and violence so easily. I think there are always better solutions than fighting, if one can only be patient enough to find them.

With enough encouragement and examples from composed figureheads such as yourself it doesn't seem like a pipe dream. Thank you very much for your time, Rosella. Hopefully when we next report we will see you again. On behalf of CNN and AC360, it's been a pleasure.

Oh, well, thank you, Anderson! It was a pleasure meeting you, and I'll very much look forward to seeing you again.
